Should I Play Gacha Now?

Play responsibly

Why this site exists

Gacha games are designed to make you feel you have to log in and pull: limited banners, countdowns, characters you might never see again. This site is for people who play anyway and want to get the most out of what they have. It is not here to make you play more or spend more.

How it is built

  • The default weighting is tuned for free-to-play: free rewards, new content and resets together weigh more than banners.
  • Saving is a valid result. A "Situational" or "Save" badge is not a failure: you don't need every character.
  • Pull advice knows nothing about your account. Pull for the characters you like, or for what your teams need, not because a badge says so.
  • No ads, no affiliate links, no links to top-ups or packs.

Before you pull

  • Do you like this character, or are you afraid of missing them?
  • Do you need them, or do you already have what your teams use?
  • Did you set this budget before you saw the banner?
  • Most limited characters come back in a rerun.

Keep it under control

  • Set a monthly budget, including zero, before a new version comes out.
  • Ask your phone or console to require a password for every purchase, or cap monthly spending (iOS Screen Time, Google Play purchase authentication, PlayStation and Xbox family settings).
  • Dailies are optional. Missing a few days, or a whole version, costs less than it feels like.

Warning signs: spending more than planned, pulling again to make up for a lost 50/50, hiding what you spend, or logging in because you feel you have to rather than because you enjoy it.
